Platon Oil Refinery Ghana

Platon Gas Oil Ghana LTD, located in the Tema industrial area of Ghana, was commissioned in 2013 as a pivotal investment project. The refinery integrates high-performance engineering, utilizing lead equipment manufactured in Ukraine alongside precision automatic systems and pumping units sourced from Germany. A comprehensive modernization program initiated in 2017 has significantly expanded the plant’s capability to process a diverse range of raw materials—including crude oil and gas condensate—while enhancing overall volume capacity for processing and finished product storage.

The facility operates in strict adherence to international industrial safety and environmental protection protocols. Equipped to meet ISO 9001 quality standards, the refinery ensures consistent, reliable performance. All refined products are certified locally in Ghana, meeting stringent safety and regulatory requirements.

Currently, the plant possesses the technical versatility to process raw materials with a density range of 0.7 to 0.91. This operational flexibility reduces dependency on specific crude grades and provides a strategic advantage in securing diverse feedstock supplies, thereby strengthening our competitive position in the West African energy market.
